Australian Retirement Trust (ART) has won Best Super Fund as voted for by financial advisers and the Fund’s Acting Chief of Retirement, Anne Fuchs, Industry Thought Leader of the Year at the 2023 SuperRatings Super Fund of the Year Awards.
The annual awards identify the top funds and professionals in the superannuation sector, together with super fund trustees and executives, group insurance executives and custodians to reward the best of the best.
Australian Retirement Trust received the coveted Best Super Fund as voted by financial advisers, a newly created award recognising the fund with the best value end-to-end product as for voted by financial advisors.
Australian Retirement Trust’s CEO, Bernard Reilly said the awards highlight the work the Fund has been doing to partner with financial advisers.
“Our ambition is to empower our 2.3 million members across Australia to retire well with confidence, and financial advisers play a major role in this for us,” Mr Reilly said.
“At Australian Retirement Trust, we genuinely believe in the power of financial advice to materially change people’s lives. We know that financial advice directly improves the financial literacy and wellbeing of members and leads to improved retirement outcomes.
“To be acknowledged by financial advisers themselves, as Best Super Fund, makes this award particularly special.
“It’s been a massive year for everyone at ART as we continue our integration and find benefits for our members. To receive this award after only around a year and a half as ART is an especially proud achievement,” he said.
Mr Reilly said everyone at ART was also proud of the Fund’s acting Chief of Retirement, Anne Fuchs who won the inaugural Industry Thought Leader of the Year award.
“This award recognises Anne’s ongoing dedication to supporting not only Australian Retirement Trust’s more than 2.3 million members, but also the industry as a whole.
“Anne has built an industry-leading, award-winning team of advice professionals dedicated to supporting Australian Retirement Trust’s members across Australia.
“Anne is incredibly passionate about improving financial outcomes for all Australians and this award is a testament to that.”
