ART announces new Director appointments

Former Bendigo and Adelaide Bank CEO, Marnie Baker and former Brighter Super director, Jennifer Thomas have been appointed to the Australian Retirement Trust (ART) Board.
Both directors bring extensive experience to the Board of ART.
Ms Baker served as the CEO and Managing Director of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank from 2018 to 2024, and serves as a director of Regional Australia Institute. Most recently, Ms Baker was appointed to Reserve Bank of Australia’s Monetary Policy Board.
Ms Thomas recently stepped down from the Brighter Super board, having been a director since 2017, and currently serves on the board of Jobs Queensland. Ms Thomas is the Executive President of the Australian Services Union.
“Both Marnie and Jenny bring strong experience, skills and insight in financial services and in superannuation to the ART board.
“I am pleased that Marnie has chosen to contribute to Australian Retirement Trust as a trustee director. Her deep experience and leadership capacity will be valued as we seek to ensure ART is positioned best for the future,” said Andrew Fraser, Chair of ART.

Ms Thomas’ first meeting as an ART Director was on 5 February. Ms Baker’s appointment is effective from today.
