Big Chant West wins for Australian Retirement Trust

Australian Retirement Trust (ART) has bolstered its position as one of the nation’s leading superannuation funds by claiming three awards at Chant West’s annual super fund of the year awards.

ART took out the awards for Corporate Solutions Fund of the Year, Best Fund: Advice Services, and Best Fund: Longevity Product.

This year marks the eighth year in a row Australian Retirement Trust (previously Sunsuper) has been awarded the Corporate Solutions Fund of the Year.

The Corporate Solutions Fund of the Year award acknowledges the super fund operating in this large and important segment of the industry that is working the hardest in the best interests of their corporate plan members, including by harnessing economies of scale.

ART was awarded the Best Fund: Longevity Product, recognising the development of the ART Lifetime Pension product and how it caters for retirees' needs.

The Best Fund: Advice Services award recognises the super fund that provides financial advice services that are relevant and accessible for all their members.

The Chant West Super Fund Awards recognise excellence and showcase best practice with the aim of making the super industry better and improving outcomes for members.

The event’s message aligned with Australian Retirement Trust’s aim to be a force for good, with the 2023 awards’ theme ‘Making a Difference’.

Australian Retirement Trust’s Chief Executive Officer Bernard Reilly, said the awards were a huge honour, and reflected the hard work of the entire ART team who remained focused on the best interests of the Funds’ members.

Australian Retirement Trust was also named as a nominee in the following categories: Super Fund of the Year, Pension Fund of the Year, Best Fund: Investments, Best Fund: Member Services, Best Fund: Insurance, and Best fund: Integrity.
