More ways to keep your super account secure

Did you know you can add an extra layer of security to your ART Super Savings account with multi-factor authentication (MFA). It’s a simple way to help keep your super safe.

MFA is a security measure that requires two or more ways of proving your identity before you can access your account. You might already have MFA on some of your other accounts, including online banking, your personal email, and your social media accounts.

Once set up, you’re required to enter a code (sent via SMS or email) every time you want to access your account.

MFA is an extra measure you can take yourself to help protect your super.

If you choose to set up MFA on your super account, when you log in to Member Online, you’ll need both your account password and a security code that we’ll send to your phone or email. Together, these things prove it’s you.

If you’re not set up for MFA, it’s a quick and easy process. After you log in to Member Online, here’s how:

1. Go to the Profile page
2. Click the down arrow on ‘Login and security’
3. Click ‘Manage’ beside Multi-factor Authentication
4. Follow the prompts to turn on MFA

We have a range of cyber security measures in place to help keep your super account safe and help you to protect yourself from scams.

Here’s what you can expect from us:

• If you call us, we’ll ask you some questions so that we can verify your identity.
• We’ll call you if we’re suspicious about account activity such as a benefit payment or transfer request.
• When we write to you, we won’t include unnecessary personal information such as your date of birth.
• We monitor benefit payment and transfer requests to detect any that may be fraudulent.
• We have security measures in place to help reduce the risk of unauthorised access to confidential data and documents.
• We have proof of identity measures in place.
